I started the first session of my dance class this evening. It is Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba Level II & III. Lots of people have signed up for this class and most of them are quite good. Suzie my dance partner and dear friend is with me too. I missed her so much and I was really glad to see her tonight. She is such a sweet heart. She is a nurse at the children hospital. A real woman with charm, beauty and wisdom; and best of all she is British with an odd sense of humor.

Back to the dance class …. there is this girl
She hits me right here in the chest, she has … some unconventional beauty. She is very very lean, white skin, very white … big blue eyes and very long blond hair. She has very long slender legs and hands. Very very slender. She looks like a fictional nymph out of some old children story book. And her fashion. black leather lacy shoes high heels. Black hose and mini skirt. very feminine dark burgundy red top with sophisticated patterns. She wears a long simple leather jacket on the top. ( I am such a lousy writer I can’t even describe her properly ) She looks like a carefully crafted paper doll.

I am so confused. She is nothing like any girl I’ve ever liked, I wouldn’t even fantasize about this type of look, yet I see myself so strangely attracted to her. And no this is not the first time, I’ve seen her in the other dance parties, she is an excellent dancer too.

I almost wanted to ask her out tonight, but I held myself back. I have done this before many times. I have asked girls out only to find out I am not really attracted to them ( why!!! )

I don’t want her to be the next victim of my confusion.

I guess I just need to see her few more times, and see if I still find myself attracted to her every time. Maybe it’s just a phase. Maybe too much dance has made me feel kind of mushy tonight.

Never mind, let’s just forget about it …

Sleep, Sleep I gotta get enough sleep, but I can’t I gotta go to work now. quick, quick, quick ….

My last post was such a downer. Guess what … the reason that I didn’t post anything after that, becuase all of a sudden I’ve been having such a productive time.

Saturday and Sunday were beautiful outside, and I got lots done. Last month in general was such as busy month. I was almost overwhelmed by the workload that I created for myself, but now I am in complete control. All projects are going really well, I also got some time to get out, go for nice walks, coffee shops, reading, and socializing.

But I didn’t make it to Downtown this weekend … I spent most of my time in the neighborhood. Coming back from Montreal, Downtown Vancouver doesn’t appeal as much anymore !!!

sigh! … couldn’t find any of my friends. Just got home from work, took a shower sitting on the sofa dressed up, shined shoes with my laptop. What the hell am I doing here on Friday night? Where’s everybody?

Such a dismal evening outside, grey and gloomy. Tomorrow is going to be partly sunny and 16 C it better be nice downtown. I better pickup a book and go to a busy coffee shop somewhere … anywhere … see if there are any signs of intelligent ( or good looking ) life on the planet!
